We support and take part in many local charity events and regularly make contributions to our local Food Bank.

Simon & Mark's Iron Man Challenge

27th July 2022

After months of training, Simon and his training partner Mark took on the epic challenge, the #NottinghamOutlaw Ironman Triathlon!

Simon is raising funds for the charity @kidsinspire_uk , who provide mental health and trauma recovery support for children, young people and their families.

Simon has now raised over £12,000.

Simon Barr takes on Ironman Challenge

What a fantastic achievement! We are so proud of you Simon Barr!

2.5-mile swim in open water

112-mile bike ride (the equivalent of London to Bath)

26-mile marathon (the equivalent of Cambridge to Stansted).

Thank you to all that have supported Simon in this adventure. Especially his training partner Mark, family and friends and of course FooteSteps .

The epic adventure had a slightly wonky finish as Simon’s blood pressure dropped resulting in a trip to A&E.
